Get to Know Your Team:  

  • Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital includes state-of-the-art rehabilitation services for patients recovering from health care conditions. It is the only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Manages and administers strategic, operational, fiscal, and personnel activities for the LHS Therapy Services Department.
  • Prepares and manages budgets, staff, and productivity. Ensures quality services are provided through daily operations.
  • Maintains all regulatory requirements for the development and implementation of policy, procedures, and security protocols for pharmacy drugs and supplies.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications:

Job Requirements :  

  • Bachelor’s in Physical or Occupational Therapy; or Master's in Speech Therapy.
  • Must be able to uphold and communicate principles of rehabilitation services to all levels within and outside the hospital system.
  • Four (4) years rehabilitation experience. 3 years of experience as a supervisor in a rehab setting.
  • Current NM License in Physical or Occupational Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology.

Preferred Job Requirements:  

  • Master’s Degree in a related field.
  • Management of more than one therapy discipline.
