This role is essential in supporting instructional technology across campus, ensuring seamless AV experiences for faculty and students. Minimum Qualifications **Minimum Qualifications** **Audio Visual Systems Engineer** Bachelor's degree and 3 years relevant experience OR Associate's degree and 7 years relevant experience OR High School/GED and 11 years relevant experience _*Area of Experience: Experience in advanced audio visual systems, infrastructure, operating systems, and applications to include functional experience in the architecture, design, and development of AV._ Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications **Minimum Skills and Abilities** + Proven experience with audio systems, signal flow, and AV troubleshooting. + Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, VLANs, and subnetting. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. **Minimum Technology Skills** **Minimum License and Certifications** Desired Qualifications **Desired Qualifications** + Experience with AV control systems (e.g.,AMX , Extron) is a plus. + CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification is a plus. + Experience in a higher education environment. + Familiarity with AV-over-IP technologies. + Ability to read and create AV system schematics. + Knowledge of classroom capture and streaming technologies.
