Junior Loan Officer Opportunity Our lending team is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a results-oriented Junior Loan Officer who is eager to learn, generate new business, and assist senior loan officers with creating and closing loan packages.   • Liaise between realtors, senior MLO / mortgage loan originator, underwriter, mortgage lenders or mortgage bankers, and loan processors on behalf of the applicant as needed to assure the loan transaction is successful
  • Review options with senior loan officer/ MLO to make a recommendation of which home loan product to recommend based on the applicant’s financial status
  • Generate new business opportunities, get referrals, monitor sales pipeline, and meet sales expectations
  • Educate loan applicants about various residential mortgage loans - answer questions and provide additional information to create personal relationships
  • Gather financial information to assist with loan applications, prepare loan files, and assess applicants’ financial situation and eligibility
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree is desired
  • Superb relationship, sales, communication, and MS Office skills are needed
  • Experience in real estate, lending institutions, credit unions, financial services, or related fields is desired, but not required
  • LMNS license required
  • Commission opportunity
