Job Title – Accounting Assistant
Location – Near Torrance, CA
Onsite, Full Time, Temp/ Contract-to-hire
Pay– $23/hr, DOE 

Job Summary of the Accounting Assistant position
Integr8Staff is partnering with an top notch export company. We are searching for a motivated Accounting Assistant who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. Accounting Assistants can expect to assist the accounting department with data entry, processing and recording transactions, and assisting with audits or fact-checking. Accounting Assistant should be thorough, accurate, and honest with good bookkeeping skills. Should have an understanding of basic accounting principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant position
Pulling AR Aging weekly, sending out statements and informing Sales team of short payments or issues with application of payments.
Processing transactions, issuing checks, EFT and ACH.
Updating logs for visibility of changes in cost estimates to actual costs received.
Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, processing mail, etc.
Handling communications with customers and vendors via email and phone.

Requirements of the Accounting Assistant position
Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills.
Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with basic accounting principles, Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable
Microsoft Excel and SAP software experience or similar preferred
Process 200+ vendor invoices per week.
Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
Commitment to working efficiently and accurately
