Senior Financial Analyst

Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for managing budgeting, forecasting, and delivering comprehensive financial reporting and analysis to drive business performance. This role partners with cross-functional teams to analyze trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable insights while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. With a focus on financial modeling, problem-solving, and supporting strategic initiatives, this position is pivotal in guiding decision-making in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports for all business entities.
  • Develop and present monthly and quarterly consolidated P&L, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet reports.
  • Create supporting documentation and perform capital expenditure analysis for upper management approval.
  • Generate regular sales and operations reports, highlighting key insights.
  • Analyze sales, margin, and expense trends to identify patterns and recommend process improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate with operation department leads to interpret business trends, market environment, and customer behavior across the value chain.
  • Implement and maintain robust systems and controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of actual and forecast data.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to produce actionable reports and address business challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards in all financial reporting and analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in retail, wholesale or logistic industry.
  • Adaptable and willing to work flexible schedules to meet operational needs.
  • Skilled in analyzing complex data, summarizing key insights, and refining information for clarity and actionable outcomes
  • Familiar with SQL, Python, data warehousing, and advanced expertise in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
