Job Description

Salary: $93,770 - 179,240 per year Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree; or 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
  • 6 years of experience in analyzing IT business processes, software application/IT platform design, and/or IT documentation, coupled with a solid understanding of application/IT platform data systems and operational processes.
  • Proven knowledge of application/IT platform administration and the software development lifecycle, including testing execution.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining documentation related to workflow, business requirements, and the technical functionality of IT applications/IT platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Familiarity with risk and controls, with experience in identifying and rectifying gaps, documenting controls, and testing those controls.
  • Successful completion of an analyst assessment may be required.
Responsibilities:
  • I provide analytical support and advice to stakeholders making decisions regarding business and IT application/platform direction and modifications, considering current and future business needs and opportunities.
  • I maintain an advanced understanding of business processes and applications, advising clients on identifying, researching, and analyzing technology solutions.
  • I collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and information services to ensure that dependencies, risks, and opportunities are recognized and addressed.
  • I research complex business challenges that demand a deep knowledge of business principles and theories.
  • I am responsible for analyzing and documenting business requirements for IT platforms and data systems, overseeing the testing and implementation of new systems or changes to current systems as necessary for contractual compliance and process improvement.
  • I lead and engage in the formulation and management of standards and policies regarding application/platform and end-user documentation, providing input in establishing system documentation standards and quality assurance methodologies.
  • I provide guidance and support to team members and may contribute to performance evaluations and development plans.
  • I ensure risks linked to business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled, in line with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

This position, Business Applications Analyst Senior, requires complex analytical, business, and technical support for strategic functions, processes, and applications/IT platforms. I will work 4 days a week in the office, located in San Antonio or Charlotte, NC, with no relocation assistance available.

Our compensation range for this role is $93,770 - $179,240, and we do not provide visa sponsorship. We aim to remain competitive, and your pay will be aligned with your experience and market data for this role. Pay incentives may be available based on overall corporate and individual performance.
