Position Snapshot + Role: School Nurse ( LVN/LPN) + Location: Chula Vista Elementary School District + other sites across San Diego County + Schedule: Monday-Friday, during school hours. Holidays off! + Opportunities: Full-time and per diem + Compensation: $30-$38/hour (DOE) What You'll Do + Provide direct care and support to students throughout the school day + Assist in Health Office operations or 1:1 student care assignments + Administer medications and treatments as prescribed + Respond to medical needs and emergencies with calm expertise + Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers + Maintain accurate, confidential health records + Champion health education and wellness initiatives on campus Perks & Benefits + $500 completion bonus for full-time hires + 40 hours of sick pay per calendar year (usable after 90 days) + Medical, Dental, Vision eligibility and more + Weekly Pay! + Variety of assignments across multiple school sites + Supportive team culture with professional development opportunities What You'll Bring + Active California LVN license (unencumbered) + Valid CPR certification + Experience in pediatric, school, or community nursing (preferred) + Diabetic management, seizure management, and asthma management experience (preferred) + Strong communication and documentation skills + Flexibility and heart to support diverse student needs Why Join Us?
