Primary Activities/Duties

  • Represent and communicate Rittal’s industrial product line to potential and existing customers.
  • Build direct business relationships and provide solutions to customer projects.
  • Collaborate with Specifying Engineers, End Users, Distributors, Resellers, and Manufacturer Representatives.
  • Assess customer product needs and partner with field sales specialists to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts through proactive outreach.
  • Focus sales efforts by analyzing account history and tailoring presentations accordingly.
  • Submit monthly activity reports and territory analyses to management.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and recommending solutions.
  • Increase sales and market share through daily customer contact, lead follow-up, and cold calling.
  • Work closely with Inside Sales to ensure product availability and resolve technical service issues.
  • Attend networking events within the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–3 years of related experience preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial sales required.
  • Proven ability to identify and develop new customer relationships for revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with CRM tools preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
