Job Description
Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a skilled and board-certified (or board-eligible) General Radiologist to join our clients outpatient-based private practice. This role is primarily focused on gynecologic and early obstetric ultrasound interpretation, with additional responsibilities in bone densitometry (DEXA), computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The position does not include on-call requirements, and offers a stable, collegial environment.
Pay: $400K-$500K with bonus
up to $100K
Key Responsibilities: - Interpret a high volume of gynecologic and early first-trimester obstetric ultrasounds, including transvaginal and transabdominal studies.
- Review and report on DEXA scans for bone mineral density assessment.
- Interpret CT and MRI studies (primarily pelvic, abdominal, and soft tissue) in the outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with referring providers, particularly OB/GYNs, to ensure timely communication and appropriate clinical correlation.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the PACS/RIS and EMR systems.
- Ensure high-quality imaging standards and participate in internal quality assurance efforts.
- Provide occasional consultation or guidance to sonographers and technologists as needed.
Qualifications: - M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Valid medical license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Florida.
- Proficiency in gynecologic and obstetric ultrasound interpretation required.
- Competency in general CT and MRI interpretation preferred.
Preferred Experience: - Experience interpreting women’s imaging, particularly in collaboration with OB/GYN practices.
- Familiarity with outpatient workflow and PACS/EMR systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
