**Quality Control Lead (Food Manufacturing)** Quality Control Pomona , CA, US + Added - 07/11/2025 Apply for Job Pay Rate Low: 21 | Pay Rate High: 25 **Quality Control Lead** **Position Overview** We are seeking an experienced Quality Control/Assurance professional who is looking to make the move to a leadership role in food manufacturing operations. This role involves hands-on leadership in maintaining product quality standards while overseeing quality assurance staff and supporting daily production processes. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with food safety regulations and drive continuous improvement initiatives. **Location** : Pomona, CA **Pay** : $21-$25/hour **Type** : Contract or Direct-hire **Schedule** : M-F 1pm-9pm **Key Responsibilities** + Supervise and coordinate quality assurance personnel to ensure timely completion of daily tasks. + Monitor shift quality standards and escalate issues to QC management when necessary. + Perform comprehensive quality inspections of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products. + Execute pre-operational inspections and environmental swabs as required. + Conduct daily allergen control inspections during pre-operation and throughout production. + Perform routine Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audits in production and warehouse areas. + Maintain adherence to all federal, state, and local OSHA regulations. **Required Qualifications** + Minimum 3 years of experience in food manufacturing environment. + Strong understanding of food safety programs and regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA, AIB, HACCP, GMP, Allergen Programs). + Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. + Leadership skills with ability to motivate and guide team members. _This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
