Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 2 days onsite; 3 days onsite starting Jan 1)

Industry: Non-Profit

Compensation: $40–$60/hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM- Hybrid Schedule, 3 days a week onsite

Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring a Project Manager – Chapter Restructure to support a high-priority transformation project aimed at enhancing member engagement through reimagined chapter meetings. This contract role will work closely with internal teams, leadership, and volunteers to lead the planning and execution of new event formats, operational workflows, and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end restructuring of regional chapter meetings and member engagement strategies
  • Develop and manage project plans across multiple chapters and markets
  • Design hybrid-capable event formats that support both virtual and in-person participation
  • Optimize registration, planning, and follow-up processes for greater member satisfaction
  • Evaluate and deploy tools or platforms that improve meeting management and attendee engagement
  • Collaborate with chapter leaders, board members, and volunteers to drive adoption of new processes
  • Define key metrics and report on program success, participation, and engagement trends
  • Oversee logistics for events ranging from 30 to 300 attendees

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in membership-based or nonprofit settings
  • 8+ years of total professional experience
  • Proven background in event or meeting planning and managing volunteers
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and initiatives

Preferred:

  • CAE (Certified Association Executive) designation
  • Familiarity with B2B operations or association technology
  • Background in member engagement strategy or hybrid event design
