Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The PA will provide high-quality care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician, assisting in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various medical conditions. This role requires excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain comprehensive medical histories of patients.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Perform various medical procedures as permitted by state regulations and the supervising physician.
- Educate and counsel patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Participate in patient follow-ups and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care and coordination.
- Remain up-to-date with medical knowledge and advancements in the field.
- Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (NCCPA) and state licensure.
- Strong clinical skills and proficiency in physical examination techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Previous experience in [specific field/setting, e.g., primary care, urgent care, etc.] is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
