Role Overview

The Integrated Facilities Management Painter through completing essential duties below ensures consistent top performance and presentation of Cortland Assets. Major responsibility for the Integrated Facilities Management Painter is collaborating with their leadership team to ensure that at least one full unit paint or two touch up paints per day are completed. Also, the painter will assist with any other painting needs as necessary to always maintain the highest level of quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 + years’ experience within interior residential painting. Custom home painting is a plus.
• Working knowledge of spray equipment, elevated safety procedures, OSHA and MSDS regulations.
• Proficient with roller and brush work along with spraying, to include spray prep work.
• Ability to repair paint spray or trade equipment is a plus.
• Ability to complete small drywall repairs to include matching texture. Larger project ability is a plus.
• Willingness to learn more efficient procedures as developed.
• Ability to work on ladders or scaffolding as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Strong ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills. English speaking preferred.
• Availability to work all shifts, including weekends as needed.
• Working knowledge of maintenance management software a plus or must be willing to learn.
• Pay: $22-24/hour.
• Depending on the position offered, regular full-time and part-time team members are eligible to participate in a bonus program in addition to their base salary or hourly rate.
