Job Description

Salary: $93,770 - 179,240 per year Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data and/or Business Analysis, Data Science, or another quantitative discipline; or 4 years of relevant experience in statistics, mathematics, or quantitative analytics may be substituted for a degree.
  • 4 years of experience in data/analytics or functional business experience within the relevant industry (e.g., Property & Casualty, Banking, Finance) OR an advanced degree in a quantitative analytics field with 2 years of relevant experience within the industry.
  • Proven competency in mathematical and statistical methodologies to support fact-based decision-making.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization techniques, SQL, SAS, BI tools, and the ability to connect external insights to business challenges.
Responsibilities:
  • Utilize intermediate and advanced analytical skills to engage with cross-functional teams, understanding and collaborating on business objectives to influence solution strategies.
  • Apply advanced analytical methods to tackle medium to large-scale business issues, potentially impacting current or future strategies.
  • Employ innovative and quantitative analytical techniques to derive conclusions, making actionable recommendations that align with business goals.
  • Prepare communication materials to convey recommendations effectively to colleagues and management for peer review.
  • Use visualization techniques to clarify key analysis points and make them accessible to non-technical audiences.
  • Identify and collect high-quality data sources necessary to address business problems through testing or exploratory data analysis (EDA).
  • Transform and integrate diverse data sources while applying appropriate data hygiene methods.
  • Thoroughly document assumptions, methodologies, validations, and tests to support peer reviews and compliance needs.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies that may impact scientific methodologies and quantitative analyses.
  • Present analysis findings in a clear manner that influences management decisions, garners support for recommendations, and shapes business strategy.
  • Ensure risks linked to business activities are recognized, assessed, monitored, and managed as per compliance policies.

Our compensation range for this position is $93,770 - $179,240, and we utilize an effective method for assessing market data to maintain competitive pay. The actual salary may vary based on experience and location, with the possibility of pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance.
