Job Overview:
The Mental Health Screener provides crisis assessments for adults and children in the psychiatric emergency room/community, medical floors, medical emergency rooms and or affiliated ERs including safety planning, coordination with family and/or support systems, linkage to services, discharge planning and/or initiating voluntary and involuntary admission requests.
The Mental Health Screener coordinates with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, peers support specialists, mental health workers, external providers and inpatient teams.
