They are currently looking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor on 2nd or 3rd Shift.
Main duties of the Maintenance Supervisor include:
- Leading and supervising at least 15 union (UAW) maintenance personnel
- Direct all maintenance repair projects
- Ensuring that production equipment is maintained and running smoothly
- Preventative maintenance on high-speed PLC-driven production equipment
- Read technical blueprints and interpret ways to fix equipment
- Ensure the team members are adhering to OSHA and EPA regulations
- Hiring/firing, scheduling time-off/vaca, and disciplinary actions
Qualifications for the Maintenance Supervisors include:
- Maintenance leadership experience from a high-speed, high-volume production facility
- Willingness to work long hours and occasional weekends
- Union experience ideal but not required.
- Automotive manufacturing exp. strongly desired
- Strong personality to be able to lead a team of seasoned maintenance technicians
