Job Title: CPMS Equipment Operator and Mail Clerk

Schedule: Monday Friday, 7 AM 3 PM
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Equipment Operator and Mail Clerk to join our CPMS print and mail operations team. The role involves operating mailroom equipment, processing print and mail jobs, and ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate mail inserting machines, sorters, and related equipment.
Prepare, process, and distribute mail for client agencies.
Perform preventive maintenance on machines (cleaning, minor adjustments).
Scan, file, and organize job orders and related documentation.
Review job requirements for accuracy (simplex/duplex, envelopes, formatting).
Maintain inventory of supplies and notify supervisor when low.
Assist with mailroom clerical duties (copies, faxes, receiving deliveries).
Ensure compliance with security and quality standards, especially for sensitive jobs (e.g., Department of Revenue).
Ability to follow instructions, meet strict deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
Comfortable working in a busy print shop with multiple machines.
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, email); ability to learn proprietary software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
Fingerprinting and background check required due to security standards.
Experience in mailroom or office support.
Knowledge of mail sorter/inserter operations.
