Job Description

We are currently seeking a member for a light equipment operator (Forklift) position in our Premier Tech Growers and Consumers plant located in  Mattaponi . This horticulture facility processes growing media for our customers who in turn feed, protect and improve our world.

Your future role

• You have previous forklift experience.
• You will assist with the overall operation of the facility; in many instances, it will not involve forklift operation.
• Your shift is Monday – Thursday, 7:00am to 5:30pm ( may vary based on operational demands ) with the possibility of limited overtime.
• You will work inside and outside of the facility in all safe weather conditions.
• You will be an active participant in keeping the facility clean and organized.
• You can abide by all safety regulations.

Required skills

• You work well in a production environment, within a team setting and have effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• You are a team player that places high value on safety.
• You can work independently and can multitask in a high paced environment.
• You can lift up to 50lbs.
• You can foresee and respond to potentially dangerous situations.
