Job Description

Salary: $114,080 - 218,030 per year Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 6 years of software development experience demonstrating a strong technical understanding in specific disciplines or technologies.
• 4 years of experience delivering technology solutions throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle, including leading code/design reviews.
• Basic understanding of one or more of the following: Java, Swift, Objective-C, Cobol, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, Go, and Python.
• Proven experience researching technical issues and generating innovative solutions.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting applications and addressing production issues.
• Ability to articulate technical challenges and deliver solutions.
• Solid understanding of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud technologies and tools.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, code, and test complex tactical and strategic technical solutions across various technologies to integrate existing systems, collaborating with engineers and architects within the team and occasionally across domains.
• Lead code/design reviews and communicate updates to stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations and effective planning.
• Develop complex algorithms to address business needs.
• Investigate and resolve intricate application and system technical issues and production problems by directing end-to-end troubleshooting efforts.
• Mentor and coach engineers on system design, development, and maintenance. Review team members’ code.
• Influence and shape the future architecture and quality standards of your specific domain, while measuring overall solution performance.
• Identify system performance issues, including technical debt, and optimize solutions.
• Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, monitored, and controlled in line with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
