GOAT HOUSE CLIMBING, Sarasota’s premier indoor climbing gym, is seeking a creative and driven
Content Creator / Marketing Specialist to help us tell our story and grow our community!
We are more than just an ordinary climbing gym; we’re a full-service fitness and wellness center built on community and inclusion. Here you’ll find top-rope, lead climbing, auto-belays, and bouldering, along with a coffee bar, two group fitness rooms, a recovery room, an infrared sauna, cardio equipment, weight machines and even a podcasting room.

This is an in-person position at Goat House Climbing located at 1355 Sarasota Center Blvd. Sarasota, FL 34240. This position can be structured as Part
-Time or Full-Time and will include other essential gym duties as needed (e.g., front desk coverage, facility support).
Key Responsibilities As our Content Creator & Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for driving our external and internal presence, including:
- Visual Content: Photography and video capture of climbing, fitness, and community activities within the gym.
- Content Creation: Developing engaging content for all platforms, utilizing both independent creativity and AI assistance tools.
- Social Media Management: Creating, scheduling, and publishing regular posts across all social media channels to foster community and drive engagement.
- Digital Advertising: Managing and executing social media advertising campaigns, demographically targeted ads, and geofencing initiatives.
- Email Marketing: Designing and deploying regular email blasts to promote news, events, and specials.
- Design: Creating eye-catching print media designs (flyers, posters) and digital assets (screen displays).
- Event Promotion: Planning and executing external and in-gym promotion of events using screens, flyers, and digital channels.
- SEO/SEM: Implementing strategies to improve search engine optimization and online visibility.
- Collaboration: Working closely with our management team on content and display needs.
What You’ll Bring - Proven experience in photography and videography, preferably in a dynamic environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing social media content creation and management.
- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for print and digital assets.
- Knowledge of social media advertising platforms and basic SEO principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with an ability to manage multiple projects.
- An interest in climbing, fitness, and wellness is a major plus!
Compensation - $20 – $26/hr
