Job Description

An Enterprise client is looking for a skilled Video Editor to help with editing long form YouTube videos into engaging vertical videos for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. The work will consist of repurposing videos from the YouTube channel to turn them into vertical shorts utilizing provided footage and assets.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Video editing needs to be done using Clipchamp only.
• Edit long form YouTube videos into vertical short-form videos suitable for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Utilize provided assets including video footage, branded images, audio, and video script.
• Add/edit with effects, transitions, and captions as needed to keep the content engaging and easy to understand.
• Submit videos in 9:16 aspect ratio.
• Video length up to 1 minute 30 second duration.
• Export in 1080p HD resolution in Clipchamp.
• Follow the short-form video checklist before sending the videos for review.
• Ability to make decisions around content cutting and storytelling to keep the viewer engaged from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Background music will not be provided and will be added by Clipchamp team.
• Use Clipchamp text to speech feature for voice overs, if required.
• Plagiarism or near duplication of competitor content will result in the contract ending.

Additional Information

Quality Assurance & Revisions:

• All submitted work must meet the quality standards outlined in the Clipchamp guidelines.
• If the deliverables do not meet these standards, Clipchamp reserves the right to: request revisions until the content is satisfactory, or withhold payment until the required quality is achieved.

Confidentiality & Ownership:

• This project is governed by the confidentiality and intellectual property terms outlined in the Upwork User Agreement and the Independent Contractor Agreement (sections 1.4, 5, and 7).
• All work produced is the sole property of Clipchamp and may not be reused or disclosed.
