A Vocational Nursing program in Fremont, CA is seeking a Full-Time VN Instructor to join their clinical education team. This direct hire position involves teaching and guiding students through the clinical aspects of nursing education, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Teach clinical skills, including patient care, treatment plans, and documentation
Collaborate on teaching strategies, clinical experiences, and student evaluations
Provide feedback to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ensure BVNPT compliance for clinical experiences
Build and maintain relationships with clinical sites and meet site requirements
Plan clinical orientations for students and faculty
Pursue ongoing professional development and stay current in clinical best practices
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
Active and unencumbered RN license in California
Minimum 3 years bedside acute care experience as an RN
Alternative Experience
LVN with BA or BS degree and 3 years of acute care experience
LVN with AA degree and 6 years of acute care bedside experience
Preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Knowledge of BVNPT regulations and standards
