We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically skilled, and experienced CAD Operator to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This position is strictly open to candidates residing in the United States, and applications from outside the U.S. will be automatically rejected.
The CAD Operator will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, a strong understanding of drafting standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and project managers remotely.
Responsibilities:
Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics based on project requirements using CAD software
Review and interpret design briefs, sketches, and specifications to create accurate digital models
Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and project specifications
Update, revise, and maintain CAD drawings and documentation as projects progress
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and feasibility
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation for permits, construction, and fabrication
Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and project records
Support project teams with technical advice and CAD-related problem-solving
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field preferred
Proven experience as a CAD Operator or similar role
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software
Strong understanding of drafting standards, technical drawing conventions, and design principles
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment
Must reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation:
Annual Salary: $55,000 – $75,000 USD.
